Abby & Steve were married in an intimate ceremony, surrounded by just 14 of their family and close friends, in Healdsburg, the heart of Sonoma County. Planning a destination wedding is no easy task, no matter how small the event. We worked together from the Midwest (Abby and Steve in Des Moines, myself in Minnesota) via phone and email to pull all of the plans together. I happen to have an in-depth knowledge of planning a wine country destination wedding, as my husband and I got married in Napa Valley (while living in Arizona) in 2010. So heading back to one of my favorite regions of the country was so fun! Even though I was 15 weeks pregnant with my twin girls, so I couldn’t indulge in any of the local specialty. 🙂
